A note on Fassbender
You might have noticed some screencaps of Michael Fassbender appearing on our blog. Although we love the Cary Fukunaga adaptation of Jane Eyre, we do not support Fassbender or his actions and behavior that have been violent and misogynistic. We include him in this blog simply because screencaps of him are easy to find, and, again, we love this adaptation. We are pretty good about tagging our posts by actor, year, etc. so if you really don’t want to see him on your dashboard and you have tumblr savior, you can follow this blog in peace.
(The same goes for James Barbour, who was convicted for statutory rape. Lots of love for the musical, none for the man himself.)
We love dramatic, jerky men, but we have no love or respect for abusive men.
